Solar Power World Seeking Applications For 2022 Top Contractors List
Solar Power World is accepting applications for its 2022 Top Solar Contractors, which will be published in the July edition of Solar Power World. Companies will be selected based on capacity of projects they installed, developed or helped construct in 2021. Energy Trust Solar trade allies may submit an application using Solar Power Worlds online portal. You can also apply to be included on the Top Solar + Storage installers list. All applications are due by Friday, May 27, 2022.
Applicants must submit basic company information and proof of installations in 2021. Supporting documents must substantiate total installed kilowatt claims and for each project must indicate size , location , energy storage capacity in kWh , completion date or utility approval date , and company role on the project.
Please review your application, supporting documentation and data carefully, as Solar Power World has updated the service definitions. A list of frequently asked questions and answers is available online, along with a PDF of the full application for review.

The utility-scale solar market, of course, puts up huge installation numbers each year, but the majority of workers in the industry are constructing projects in the commercial and residential markets, which continue to break records, said Kelly Pickerel, editor in chief of Solar Power World. Over 85% of the companies on the 2022 Top Solar Contractors List primarily work in the residential and commercial sectors, and they all reported closing out the last year in a positive light.
