Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Amp Head
Founded in 1971 by Randall Smith, Mesa Boogie was originally a small repair shop. The shop gained notoriety for repairing and modifying Fender amplifiers. Modified Fender amplifiers were generally outfitted with a modified gain circuit, which increased the amount of gain that Fender amplifiers were capable of producing. Eventually, Randall Smith started producing amplifiers based off his modified Fender circuit. Interestingly, the name Mesa Boogie is said to have been inspired by Carlos Santana. The Dual Rectifier series was an attempt to further increase the amount of gain available from a Mesa Boogie amplifier, most likely inspired by the advent of heavier genres of music in the late 80s. The series has been heavily utilized by acts such as Metallica, Korn, and Slipknot.
Each of the three channels on the Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier can be managed independently, both in the EQ section and in terms of wattage. The three channels also feature independent gain controls, which go from crystal like clean tones to heavy levels of gain .
The Dual Rectifier also features an effects loop as well as 6L6 output tubes. 6L6 output tubes are generally considered to be warm and dynamic, and generally offer a great high-end frequency response.

has been going strong for many years. Its an established range of great solid-state amps for producing Marshalls classic and modern tones while being versatile, affordable, and great value for money.
Unlike other solid-state amps, the MG series uses analog circuits for tonal character and response similar to a valve amp. While still retaining the versatility and tonal flexibility of a solid-state amp.
The MG30 GFX and MG50 GFX are identical in function only differing in wattage.
The 30-watt version is strictly for the practicing and recording bedroom guitarist. The 50-watt version is for both home use and has enough volume being the perfect companion for small gigs.

How Much Power Do You Need
Think about wattage too – if you just want to play at home, then a small guitar amp with a low wattage will do fine. If youre going down the tube amp route, go for as low a wattage as possible – that way you can crank the preamp section, and it wont deafen everyone! Likewise with solid state and digital amps, whilst the tone wont vary too much depending on the volume, theres no point paying for more than you need.
If youre looking to play some gigs, then youll want to go for something with a bit more power. Its worth noting here that the perceived volume of tube amps and solid state/digital amps is not the same – that is, usually, a 20W tube amp will be louder than a 20W solid state amp. 15/20W is a fairly sweet spot for tube amps if youre playing small to medium gigs as you can push them nicely into overdrive whilst keeping on the good side of the sound technician. For solid state and digital amps, youll probably want to look around 100W to really be heard at shows.

Trying to compare the prices of rooftop solar panels to BIPV solar roofs is a bit of an exercise in futility due to a significant number of variables that would need to be considered.
