Many fridge nameplates only give the current rating in amperes. How does this relate to the power rating in watts? Loosely speaking, watts = volts x amps, so in the U.S. a refrigerator at nominal 110 volts and nameplate current of 4 amps would have a power rating of 4 x 110 = 440 watts.

Yes, it is enough but there are a few things you should know. We are assuming that you already have a battery and inverter. The inverter should be 10 times more powerful than the actual wattage needed to run a refrigerator. If the fridge needs 150 watts, then pick an inverter of 1500 watt inverter.
On the other hand, a 24 volt or 12 volts DC fridge doesnt need such an inverter. Running other home appliances does not make the thing difficult as the fridge does.

Unfortunately, although the design is very simple, todays solar panels are not very efficient. A solar panel may well state that it will produce 100w, however, they will rarely do so.

The flow of electricity is far more efficient when the device is cool, however, the panel requires direct sunlight, and will as a matter of course heat up. The heat reduces the efficiency and consequently, the quantity of electricity produced is also reduced.
